We used to live at Lapu Lapu Street Agdao. Every Saturday, I go to Victoria Plaza to watch a movie alone. My pocket money would only be P50.00. P10.00 for the trisikad fare, back and forth, and P15.00 for the movie ticket (orchestra). The extra P25.00 would be for emergency purposes.
I have a lot of experiences when I am alone inside a movie house. I think I was 11-12 years old at that time. There are times that someone would sit infront of me and introduce himself. Some were even in groups. But I will just transfer another seat. The scariest part was everytime I will encounter an exhibitionist. Some would sit one seat away from me. Then I will just wonder why the seats are shaking. When I look beside me, there I will see a guy staring at me while playing with himself. Sometimes, even if I transfer another seat, some will still follow me. When that happens, I will finally decide to leave the cinema and spend my time window shopping.
