Have you seen this movie?  If not, you’re missing half of your life.  This movie is really great.  May drama, suspense, humor, lahat na ata andito.  It’s a 3 hour film pero you won’t get bored kase ang ganda talaga ng story.  Perfect combination.  Plus the characters are really amazing.  I like Tom Hank’s here at si John Coffey.  I will never forget their character.  I hate Percy and Wild Bill.  Pero they make the story more colorful.  Mr. Jingles is also great.

This is not a new film.  1999 pa ata ito.  I was able to catch it on HBO a few years ago at tumatak na talaga sa isip ko ang story niya.  When I saw a dvd of this in a video store, binili ko kaagad.  It’s only P199 pero orginal na.  Maganda to isali sa collections niyo.

I just found out that there are already 11 planets on our solar system! I only knew 9 of them and I can’t even memorize their proper order according to increasing distance from the sun. I read an article that a 10 year old girl won a contest for creating a mnemonics of the 11 planets on our solar system that was sponsored by National Geographic Society. Here is the winning entry:

My Very Exciting Magic Carpet Just Sailed Under Nine Palace Elephants.

And here are the 11 planets:

Mercury Venus Earth Mars Ceres Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto Eris

There is no egg in eggplant.
No ham in hamburger.

IT’S A GUY THING = there’s no rational thought pattern connected with it, and you have no chance at all of making it logical.

CAN I HELP WITH DINNER? = why isn’t it already on the table?

IT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG TO EXPLAIN = I have no idea how it works.

THAT’S INTERESTING DEAR = are you still talking?

YOU LOOK TERRIFIC = please don’t try on one more outfit. I’m starving!

WE SHARE THE HOUSEWORK = I make the mess, she cleans them up.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called FAILURE, a loop called CONFUSION, speed bumps called FRIENDS, red lights called ENEMIES, caution lights called FAMILY. You will have flats called JOBS, but if you have a spare called DETERMINATION, an engine called PERSEVERANCE, insurance called FAITH and a driver called GOD, you will make it to a place called SUCCESS.

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn’t, nothing can make him stay.

Never let him know everything, he will use it against you later.

He is a man, nothing more nothing less.

You should never look for someone to complete you, a relationship consists of two whole individuals.

Make him miss you sometimes. When a man always know where you are and know that you’re readily available, he will take you for granted.

A pencil maker told the pencils 5 important lessons. First, everything you do will always leave a mark. Second, you can always correct the mistakes you make. Third, what is important is what is inside you. Fourth, in life you will undergo painful sharpening which will make you a better pencil. And the most important is, in order to be the best pencil you can be, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the Hand that holds you.

Count your garden by the flowers,
Never by the leaves that fall.
Count your days by golden hours,
Don’t remember clouds at all.
Count your nights by stars, not shadows.
Count your life with smiles, not tears.
And with joy on every birthday,
Count your age by friends, not years.
