GETTING REAL

I have a confession.  I have never been really honest in writing entries in this personal blog.  I feel like people will read this from time to time and I cannot fully express my inner thoughts and feelings.  I am afraid that I might hurt or offend someone.  I don’t want to be in that kind of situation wherein people will misinterpret and give a different meaning to what I’m writing here.  That is why I’ve been really very careful about the things I am sharing.  I have people to protect.  I have a family to protect.  Things are more complicated now.  As much as I want to share my past experiences, I am afraid that someone will make a big deal out of it and create trouble for me and my family.  So I hope you will understand why I don’t elaborate on certain things.  As if someone is really reading my blog!!!  Feeling ko lang siguro yun.  Kung may nagbabasa man, please drop a comment para malaman ko.

STICK WITH WORDPRESS, FOR NOW

I was trying to export my blog to blogger but there seems to be a problem.  Blogger cannot import the XML files from wordpress.  Maybe I should stick to this format to avoid further problems.

FAVORITE ICON

I finally changed the FAVORITE ICON (favicon) of my blogs at blogger. I also learned how to make a screenshot and post it here! I’m not a techie person but there are a lot of tutorials you can find on the internet. I love learning! Maybe I will create a new blogsite for the techie wannabes. Let’s see.

I’m planning to switch back to blogger again.  I recently discovered this website wherein I can download free blogger templates.  In fact, I used some of them on my other blogs already.  But  I have to think about it many times.  Anyways, I will be posting a note if ever I decided to  use blogger again for this personal blog.

MINI USB PAPER SHREDDER

I bought this item at CD-R King for P380.00.  I’ve been scouting for a paper shredder for some time now but they are very expensive.  Besides, I will only use it to shred personal documents and not an entire department so I only need a very portable and affordable one.  Until I saw this on the shelf.  I tested it and it serves the purpose.  It shred 2 sheets of paper at a time.  You can attach it in your computer or put 4 pieces of AA batteries on the reverse side of the cover to get it started.  It also serves as a letter opener.  I usually shred old bank statements, credit card bills, and old documents that contain personal information.  This will prevent identity theft.

WRITING POEMS

I used to write poems when I was in high school.  I don’t know if my friends know about this.  I can finish a 16 line poem in just 1 hour especially if I am inspired.  I had this notebook wherein I wrote all my works.  But I burnt it.  My creations are like my diary.  They reflect my emotions and thoughts at a certain moment in my life.  And I don’t want people to read about it or know that my “poem notebook” exists.  But I think I should try writing again.  But I will no longer write it in a notebook.  I will post my poems here if ever I finish one.  Or I will try to remember some of the poems I wrote before and post it here also.
